What is media? Media is alot of things, it can be?

Television :



American reality show.

 Reality television is a genre of television programming which is supposedly "unscripted" which is mainly used to entertain and usually contains dramatic, over the top and humorous situations, actual events or document or actual events which usually feature ordinary people.

Fictional 'love' story.

Fictional television -Shows that have been made up in real television shows or other media which are used and created to entertain and relatable and interesting to viewers for example "Vampire diaries" "90210"

Music -

Soundtrack - Can be used to create a certain atmosphere in a film, television programme etc, for example a soundtrack with a heavy beat can create a tense,exciting atmosphere and feeling to a scene.

Videos: 3-4 minute videos to entertain and relate to the specific song, some are used to entertain, tell a story or simply to send a message.




30 seconds to mars music video - to entertain and send a message.

 

Newspapers/magazines - To publish story's about things happening around in the media, which could be about politics, celebrities, public or tragedies/incidents. To inform, entertain and aware readers.

Internet media - YouTube, google, social networking sites, which enable to you research, view music/videos, to inform, socialise, educate and entertain.

A film,which can also called a motion picture or movies, is a series of still or moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with camera's or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. The process of filmmaking has developed into an art form and industry.

Radio - used to broadcast, inform (latest news) and obviously to play music, depending on the specific genre.
